Language and Dialects

Based on the 2010 NSO survey on household by language, there are approximately 77 dialects spoken in Bukidnon. The top 10 most common dialects are, Bisaya/binisaya which accounted 48%, Cebuano (30.43%), Hiligaynon/Ilonggo (6.53%), Higaonon (2.82%), Bukidnon (1.90%), Boholano (1.79%), Talaandig (1.50%), Matigsalug (1.17%) and Ilocano (1.10%), Tigwahanon (0.39%), and Maranao (0.39%).
