Bukidnon Flag

The official emblem of the province. It symbolizes the spirit, values, and rich heritage of Bukidnons. It also represents their patriotism and faith in Almighty God.

Three Equal Horizontal Stripes

These represent hospitality, heroism, and nobility. They also express sentiments for equality, freedom, justice, and peace.

Colors: White, Red, Black

White stands for honesty and purity. Red symbolizes commerce, courage, and bravery. Black represents authority, while yellow signifies nobility.

Spear and Shield

The traditional weapon of the natives used for self-defense.

Upper Portion of the Shield

Represents the mountain ranges, which provide forest resources, wildlife, and minerals. These mountains also serve as natural defenses.

Lower Portion of the Shield

Depicts scenic canyons like Mangima, Atugan, and Kulaman, which also act as natural barriers for the province.

Parallel Lines Edging the Shield

Symbolizes native settlements along riverbanks, from which tribal names such as Pulangions and Tigwahonons are derived.

Circular Figure with a Mountain Inside

Represents Mt. Kitanglad, the province’s most prominent landmark. It is home to communication relay and transmission towers.
